チーム数が奇数の場合のパワーペアリングと行われなかった対戦のVote数について

On Power Pairing and the number of Votes for any unpaired teams if the number of teams is an odd number

（１）パワーペアリング Power Paring

パワーペアリングは原則として、Vote数ではなく、それまでの対戦のVote取得率によって行います（原則と書いたのは、同率の場合は得点の合計等が計算に入ってくるためです）。

In principle, power pairing will be carried out, not based on the number of votes, but on the percentage of votes obtained in the previous games.

（例）予選３が終了後、予選４を組む際のパワーペアリング

(Example) Power Pairing when setting up Round 4 after Round 3 is over:

【ケースA】予選１が２Vote、予選２が対戦なし、予選３が１Voteだった場合

[Case A] If a team got 2 votes in Round 1, no match in R2, and 1 vote in R3

１試合あたり２Voteもらえる可能性があるため、２対戦（予選１と３）の取得可能最大Vote数は４Voteとなる。そのため、Vote取得率は3/4=75%として計算する。

Since there was a possibility of getting 2 votes per match, the maximum number of votes that could have been obtained in 2 rounds (R1 and R3) was 4 votes. So, the ratio of votes obtained is calculated as 3/4 (= 75%).

【ケースB】予選１が２Vote、予選２が１Vote、予選３が１Voteだった場合

[Case B] If the team obtained 2 votes in Round 1, 1 vote in Round 2, and 1 vote in Round 3

・取得可能最大Vote数は６Voteなので、4/6で約67%となります。

The maximum number of votes that could have been obtained was 6 votes, so it is 4/6 (=about 67%).

（２）対戦しなかった予選のVote数について Number of Votes of the Round not Played

参加チーム数が奇数であった場合、全チームの中で４チームのみ、予選対戦数は３になります。対戦しなかった予選のVote数と得点は次のように計算します。

If the number of participating teams is an odd number, the number of preliminary matches will be 3 for only 4 teams. The number of votes and points for the Rounds not played for those teams will be calculated as follows.

• Vote数 Number of Votes

・予選終了時に、予選結果に基づき、右の表に従いVoteを加算します。

At the end of the preliminary rounds, votes will be added according to the table on the right based on the results of the team.

（例 Example）

【ケースA】予選の合計Vote数＝５

表をみると加算Vote数＝２なので、５＋２＝７ Votesとして計算します。

Case A: Total number of Votes in the preliminary rounds is 5.

The table shows that the number of added Votes is 2. So, they will have seven votes as the result of the preliminary rounds. (5+2=7)

【ケースB】予選の合計Vote数＝３

加算Vote数＝１なので、３＋１＝４Voteとして計算します。

Case B: Total number of votes in the preliminary rounds is 3.

Since the number of added votes is 1 as shown in the table, 3 + 1 = 4 Votes.

• 得点 Score

得点については、予選での３対戦で取得した得点を平均し、その平均を対戦しなかった対戦の取得得点として計算します。

Scores will be calculated by averaging the scores obtained in the three preliminary rounds and using that average as the score obtained in the game not played.
